The only thing that gets to me more than the adjustable wrenches, and using pliers as a wrench or (even worse) a hammer, is when I see RUclipsrs using CLAW hammers on their cars! You do you, Travis, and I'll watch the videos, regardless.... 😂

28-36 is the same wishbone distance and thicknes 37-40 was the wider wishbone as you discovered.

A-and that's how hot rodders do it! Heat, hammer, trial and error, lather rinse and repeat! Looking forward to seeing how the RPU sits! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!
Put the fenders back on and and stop screwing around with it. If you are bored and want to mess something up, work on the 3 window.
Love the RPU, awesome machine! I don't know sh!t about shinola, but that coil mounted over the head makes me think...especially when the motor gets warmed up. Audrain! Nice to have that in your backyard (say hi to Donald and the crew)! Just scored a Sharp 3x2 intake from Iron Trap (tried to get the Thickstun Hi-rise but someone got there before me). Any thoughts on Sharp? Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!

Just saw video here's my 2¢ worth, believe you have ign problem. If you had fuel issues it would effect all 8 cyls. 4 fouled cyls not firing all the time caused plugs to foul. Would check dist cap for cracks, side play of rotor shaft, as for condenser doubt it's failing half the time if it was bad no start , put vacuum gauge on eng great tool for diagnostic on older eng diagnostics.

Nicely done! Me thinks it's just low enough and sits great when slammed and parked! Hope Danno remembers to air up before rolling out! Old timer around the corner from me was an early pioneer of bagging hot rods. He has a chopped convertible '47 Plymouth (beautiful oddball) that would sit on the ground. After a day of Natural Lights at the local Tiki bar, forgot to air up enough pulling out and...whoopsie! Danno's car is awesome and the work you are doing just keeps making her better! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!

Another thing on upper ball joint clearance. The upper control arm goes in and out to align the front end. You cannot plan for the joint to always be in this position.

Yeah the alt and fuel lines looks great, nice job. That 5 speed saves the old flatty for sure, but with our roads and those seats. Not going to happen LOL
You should research that ball joint it doesn't look safe to me you'd hate for someone to get hurt

Travis, what you need to get those bushings out is something like a pickle fork that fits the outer dia. of the bushing, that will force the bushing out as it's pushed in, usually with a hammer.
The person who said it looked terrible with the arch below the rim or whatever he said is naturally a jealous CS prick. It’s good how you just ignored them anyway.

With my last 3 40 fords I was always worried about the grille chin when parking…..The ‘36 would worry me after all the work you had into the front nose….Low is always COOL until the cars nose gets bloody…..!

Travis, RE top ball joint gap: why can't you just move the top bolt up in 1/2"??? RE; Toparm strip. Pull the bushing out from either end then it'll just come up. Or just tape it.

Maybe there is a reason the parts are made the size they are? Engineering some call it. I get the aesthetic, and it does look good dropped, but it is totally impractical. You can't drive around like that if you want the car to stay in one piece. to solve the problem with shocks I would think you would need stiffer ones, which may not make for comfortable travel.

It was 95 here in Florida we use to it
